Itaewon, i actually have really high expectation with this place. It's was describe like the Soho of London, Newton of Sydney, Kazimier of Cracow. With really high counts of gays in that area, that place should be really artistic, boho, and fashionable.

Turn out to be wrong, no i don't find it artistic or the other adjectives i used to describe just now. It's more like newtown where u walk along the streets and small little shops and coffee shops but really lack of personality. the vibe was wrong, crowds' age were not in specific range. After finished waking around we decided to stop for a coffee again while waiting the time to passby... meeting at 8pm. This one caught our attention in particular, it's set on a higher ground and the name of the shop i find really interesting - Cup and Bowl

its a really a tiny little coffee shop which can only accomodate like 6 people in a go. I feel really homey once i enter this shop. Spotting the homemade scornes, breads, cookies displayed under the glass lid. Almost could see what they are doing as well, as they are preparing our drink =)

They partition part of it but leaving a small opening on the wall. What a great idea, to increase to depth of the customer, instead of having solid walls. Interaction opportunity is there and u can feel the space widen up a little.

i had soy cafe latte and a piece of the macadamia cookie. it was perfecto for the coffee but maybe not to the cookie. I find the subway australia one better in the sense that, more macadamia is to be found in the cookie.

i forgotten what qing had, but i rmb her saying how hard is it to find a perfectly baked scorn. She could smell the freshness of it when cracking it open to half. so i guess thats a good sign?
