Very nice shot of our first expression spotting the moving tentacles of the octopus. Beside the octopus, is the sashimi plate of 2 different kind of fishes. It was arranged in different rows for a reason and each part of the fish, the textures are different, going from soft to chewy. Very complex, and i cant actually differentiate it but i could really taste the freshness of it. i am really not a seafood person to give u a really expert review. But i do have to remind u that i saw the whole process of choosing the fishes, catching it from the display boxes, slaughtered and served. Beat that freshness man! beat that!
I find Korean food is really about the art of Mix and matching. Sauces, Side dishes, soups with rices, Freshness and also chopstick really play a really important part in eating. Consider this, if u dun know how to use the chopstick how are u gonna smudge or deep into sauces in front of u.

For this type of eating, we ate it with a dip of sesame oil and salt. How healthy! I really feel the tentacle's suction, cleaning up muh tongue like a vaccum cleaner. U're suppose to chew it really fast and swallow but i had to take this picture! otherwise it will crawl out of ur stomach to ur mouth if u didnt kill it . U do know i am just kidding right haha. The taste, i would say its chewy, not disgusting, i would say a harder version of jellyfish but definitely not as crunchy though.

This is another way of eating it, where u can either wrapped the sashimis or octopus with sesame leaf or lettuce.. with all the dippings. Eat it! Like how the Vietnamese eat their spring rolls.

So the meat of the fishes were eaten raw, what happen to the bone? The remaining bones were used to made a "hot soup" literally translated to from korean =). it's really yummy, strong taste, spicy, and full of flavours! remaining meats around the bones are like tofu man! hahaha..

The whole meal were accompanied by Soju and also fruit soju (plum), Korean pride alcohol. we were taught the way of pouring soju, the way of drinking and lifting the cup whenever people pour. i cant pour a soju myself, so u have to pass the bottle for other poeple to pour it for u! how interesting.
the bottle cap can turn into a drinking game as well....my fun filled night!
