Sinsa-dong, South Korea
After a hearty meal with my "extended" family. it's time to sweeten up. If you have a "selective" sweet tooth like me, only selective to certain sweet, cherish it :). me and theQings were drove around to find any available coffee shop. We stop by a few and almost all of them are jam-packed with beings. Thats was a surprise to me, Korean really do cherish the tooth! it was more driving until we stumble upon this shop call "Mugs for rabbit"
Mug for Rabbit has character period. The interior has quirks and charms - rabbit icon for the place, the lamps that spell out "R A B B I T" and even the coffee cup chandelier. How cliche but it absolutely work! Notice the black and white tile runway, it works in drawing people straight to the counter! It's a small bizarre, fashionable cafe which used almost all of the common construction material but making them work without overpowering each other!
There are also amazing photographs, so it has a gallery feel to it.The interior is decorated with its own mugs and rabbit items. A plenty of tables are available for seating.
This is a café with a friendly atmosphere. The first floor is a café called Mug for Rabbit, and the second floor is a wine bar called Cork for Turtle. They serve 'rabbit coffee' with a coffee-art picture of a rabbit in the milk foam. Their wasabi latte is very unique. I wasnt up for it at that time, but managed to take a sip and surprisingly it aint that bad!

The coffee shop also has homemade cupcakes in a variety of flavors. The flavors include blueberry, chocolate, raspberry, mint chocolate, red bean, cappuccino, English tea, and strawberry.Don go asking me how the cupcake taste, i couldn't remember much but absolutely soak up the environment, we eat with our eyes too u know. The only thing i vividly remembered is i killed the rabbit, swallowing it!
There were hours of talking, appreciate the companion of my eonni, Kim, her oma, and another friend, jung yi =) it was heart warming. BTW, The cute rabbit icon is also loved by many regulars. After a few sips of the drink, a cute rabbit print peaks out inside the mug and says "HI".
P/s: Oma was so kind, that she nearly wanted to buy the cup for me as a souvenir as she was talking to the bartender. My sixth sense told me so. The conversation was in Korean. and straight away went saying .. " NO YE PO" " PISAAAAA "!!! it meant... not nice, expensive!!! haaha..
