Colour or no.

Color. In this world of visual arts, a cull colour palate can be very attractive, very seductive, for the artist. Less is bore as suggested Venturi. A real temptation to create with every color possible, and it certainly can be fun. But, using all the colors of the rainbow for every project can be boring. Less is more by Mies.

Color, is meant to grab attention, to direct a person or impress something upon the mind in an immediate way. Presents of colors without a rhyme or reason becomes nonsensical and even worse. Distracting people from the very message the artist is trying to convey. This is definitely an instant where les is more.



Black and white. Especially in photography. If not used correctly can be a major bore. But i always think someone would be able pull off a black and white art work, is definitely one the should be watch for! Contrast is crucial among black and white. In the mind's eye, you see that there is a natural contrast between black and white: black and white exudes contrast. Without the correct tweaking, or lighting, it turns into splashes of dull gray. If you can master the drama of B&W, then in my opinion, u learn to use colour more effectively. The eye reads tone before colour.

I've always wanted to produce something black and white but the temptation of injecting a few colour in never fail. The thought always minger. If only one day, there is an eyewear could filter off all colours except black and white!
